I think this goes a lot further than Amazon's Kindle... think about if it could do to the Magazine industry what Itunes did to the Music industry.

I agree. It's surprising that the eMagazine industry hasn't yet taken off. Very surprising the eNews industry and eBook industry came first.

Despite its ease on eyes, E-ink is also useless for everything BUT reading a book, IMHO. Try to do anything else with it (especially the Internet, or even magazines), and it's like you've taken a time warp to 1991 with a black-and-white Powerbook -- only worse. I've owned a Kindle. For shear versatility for doing books PLUS everything else in vivid color, I've already sold my Kindle and am waiting to buy an iPad.
