What is a World?

A World is a place where conversations occur. Each World is full of people who share a common point of interest. You can create a World for any topic where you want to mingle with other people who share that common interest.

How do I create a World?

Creating a World is really a very simple process! All you have to do is simply walk through the form, obviously making sure to enter interesting information in it to attract new users and visitors! Take a look at the screen shots below to familiarize yourself with the process, then click here to start creating!

Any advice before I enter the competition (create a World)?

Yes, we have some advice. Following these steps will give you the best shot of winning:

• Only create a World in a topic you are truly interested in. Let the money be the cherry on top - the real drive should be the ability to facilitate conversation between you and other people who share this common bond
• Use Facebook: Send a Facebook status update about your World creation, Invited your friends to your World, search for Facebook groups that are similar to your World and spam away!
• Use Twitter: Post a Tweet about your World creation, search for your topic and follow (and then DM) people who are tweeting about your topic, get other people to tweet out your World!
• Use Google: Find other communities of people who might enjoy participating in your World. You will be surprised how likely people are to check out a new website!

You need to get a discussion going. Simply inviting people and asking them to follow your World will only go so far. By creating meaningful conversations with rich dialogue and media, more people will come!

Is this one of those 'Win a free Xbox 360... when I give away ALL my personal information' gigs?

No. Believe it or not, this is actually a legitimate competition aimed to reward the initial contributors of our community in a fun way. Once the competition is over, we will take a picture of the winners with their checks. Until then, you'll just have to take our word for it.

How do you measure which World is the 'top' World?

We will rank Worlds based on activity in that world.

Do I need to do anything to enter the competition besides creating a World?

Nope. Every World created qualifies for the competition.

What if there is a tie between two Worlds with the same number of followers?

If this is the case, the winner will be the person who created the World first.

Someone already created the World I want to create. Can I create a duplicate World?

Yes, you can. While we suggest you create Worlds in areas that no one has occupied, the best Worlds will always rise to the top. So if you feel you can create a better conversation that what is happening in the current Worlds, go for it! Just know you will have to work harder than the other person to make your World more appealing.
